Breastfeeding is starting to get alot easier now

Last week before my milk came in Kieran was feeding almost constantly and my nipples were sore because they were still getting used to having someone sucking on them (lol ) and I came really close to giving up with it and giving him the bottle but I decided to wait until my milk came in to see if it got any better before giving up and since my milk has come in it really has got alot better Kieran is going around 3 hours between feeds now and not constant like before meaning I can get some sleep aswell and my nipples have stopped hurting So im just really happy I decided to stick with it and not give in to the bottle. It's got alot easier for me and im actually enjoying it now

Kieran got weighed yesterday aswell and is now 7lb 6oz (7lb 4oz when born) so has put on a bit of weight which the HV said was good because babies normally lose some weight but he's put it on. That's made me even more determined to carry on BFing aswell because I know he's getting what he needs and he's contented with it

I was abit worried that breastfeeding wouldn't get easier and I would end up giving him a bottle so im glad it has got easier

It's good not having to sterilise bottles and make them up aswell, especially at night
