I know it's early, but it is bothering me.

If we have a girl, DH and I already have a name - we had 2 perfect names for our daughter and couldn't decide. So we said we would keep the name we didn't use for our next as we loved it so much.

Problem is - when it comes to boys names, we have no clue.
I have a few I like, but he hates them all!

I know we have plenty of time, and the likelyhood is that we'll have a girl, as I would quite like a boy to make it one of each  , but any one got any inspiration for me?

Searching on the net is pretty monotonous and pretty soul destroying as there are billions!!!

Those are just names I can think of that are children I know either as family, friends or from playgroup.

You've got to give us a least a clue of what you like!!

Just one name, or the 'type' you're after :D

The ones in bold I love :)

However have suggested all but Ethan to him and I got "ewww, no"

MEN!

Still, I expect he will take it more seriously if we do find out we are having a boy.

i made a list and DH hates them all! i did that list at about 16 wks now at 29wks went tho list again with DH and he now likes some of them
so just keep saying them and he may get so used to them and change his mind like mine has!

OH hates ALL boys names

What, even his own? I think he has to give you something to go on, otherwise your poor son will end up like the character in the Johnny Cash song - called Sue!

I've got a really good book, currently on loan to a friend, which really helps with baby name choices as it gives the origin, meaning and lots of info about the name. Can't recall the title at present, but I'll get back to you when I can as people have generally found it useful.

Has your fella not given any hints about the sorts of names he likes? Modern, Hebrew, Greek, Celtic, traditional etc? It's a little difficult to come up with something if he's being this unhelpful!

If he continues being awkward though, quite frankly, I'd just say that you should choose and he'll have to lump it! Maybe that will shock him into actually considering what he DOES like.
