OMG - my maternity bras getting tight so I went next door to lingerie shop for a try on and cant believe that the 40H does not fit  FFS!!!! I'm a busty gal normally at 38F but seriously all my clothes are now just too tight around the boobs. I dunno what to do cos they are only gonna get bigger as I'm gonna breastfeed :wall2:

Big bras cost £20-25 a pop and I will need to get re-measured at 38 weeks so what do I do?? I cant afford to spend £100s just on bras over next few weeks!! My bras I'm wearing now just squish my boobs together and they sweat horribly in my cleavage :shakehead: I went online to a maternity bra website and ordered one of these...

Its not in cup sizes, just ordered X-Large I hope this will be OK..... If it is comfy and works well I could maybe then order another in white and it will do me the next 7 weeks or so till baby comes but then I will need nursing bras... I'll worry about that when times comes - no need to buy now will wait till baby out and see how big I am!!

OK - rant over (I think)

aww I really feel for you. I too am a busty girl (32E of F depending). Luckily I haven't actually changed in size yet but really understand your difficulty in getting bigger sizes. Maybe you should invest in 2 good sports bras? They will have loads of support and tend to wash well. It will also save you having to keep buying until after baby is born. Pricey but will no doubt be a good investment for even after baby is here - just buy a really generous size....

I was thinking of suggesting the same, I reckon sports bras are better, though a bit tricky for breastfeeding. My maternity bras just squish my boobs together and make me sweat but the sports bras have more breathable fabric.

I had to buy another bra today too Tracey, luckily just a cheapo from Asda as I know what you mean about prices and am thinking too about going to get fitted for a nursing bra in a couple of weeks!

I've gone from a 32F to 36F now - gulp!

i've been really lucky s far, have gone from a 34 f/ff (depending) and am now a 34 gg but have notices recently that my boobs have started to really ache again and have even found some stretch marks on them  my bra's have also just started to get tight, but i'm thinking that as i'm now on maternity leave i'll just make do until after the birth and get nursing bras then, as one of my maternity bras is also a nursing bra so will have one for right after birth!

i'm hoping i don't get to much bigger as i wont be able to buy any from the shops in my town :( but i do need to find a bikini top birthing in as i'm really hoping for a water birth . . . but nowhere does my size

I had to get new bras too this week, I've gone from a 34 E to 36 F :-( Got some nice ones out asda and they we're only £6 each.

La Senza has nice bikinis and they go to a 40 GG

I got a Mothercare tankini on ebay for £7 size 18 and has a boob panel in it. Fits lovely and will do me great when in labour in bath. The pool out of order but ill still have loads of baths! I also have a couple of new look maternity vest tops with inner support panel that will do the job too, in case Im in and out font wanna get cold....

Meanwhile waiting on my bra coming in post should arrive tomorrow. My sports bras Dont fit anymore....... Oh well 7 weeks to go...or 8 or 9 or 6, 5, 4, 3...... Hey, stay in there!! Lol

Bra arrived today, rushed upstairs and put it on - WOW!! what a comfy relief this turned out to be!! Look at link on my first post on this thread and go get yourself one!! No clips, no wires, no bones, a little support but hey I'm not planning on going on the trampoline or anything..... I know I will be able to sleep in this - I'm gonna go order another in white now - what a buy!!

There is actually a size guide on the website...hold on....

I hope that wiL fit you, I had the same and I was a DD, E and I could barely fit there:(

Kinda jealous of you girls... My 36B's are still... Very much... 36B's... lol xx

there is no feeling quite like putting on a brand new bra that makes you feel like you can rock anything else you put on! Am so glad you're pleased with it Tracey - as another busty girl I really do understand! x

Oooooooh will need to look!

Boobs getting bigger by the day, already on second batch of maternity bras and still growing.

Seriously, am worried I'll smother baby when he/she arrives!
