Boil!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ***UPDATED***OMG

Oh my god, i have ahd a HUGE boil manifest itself in the crease of my groin and leg

It is sooooooooo painful i can hardly walk lol

Has anyone else had this??

Well Wed evening couldnt handle it anymore and went to A & E, and I have only just got out!!!!!!!
Well to cut a long story short, they decided to cut it open as I couldnt walk and usually they do this under general anaesthetic but because im preggers they did it under a local.....OUCH!!!!
The doc said it would feel like a few scratches..yeah right!!!! it was excruciating (sp) but a relief, the amount of pus that came out was ridiculous and I have been told it will take up to 2 months to heal!!!!

Yes! Twice!! I found if I squeezed it it seemed to get even bigger/sorer!!
Leave it if possible and it will eventually just pop and no longer hurts. I know it's sore, I put them down to hormones and changes in discharges/down there temperatures etc...things 'warm up' to keep baby warm etc. Try not to worry, see the midwife or GP if you are worried but in both cases mine just vanished a few days later - hope yours leave just as soon.

Yeah i've had this before (but not during this pregnancy - touch wood).

Oh, i feel for you - it's so painful isn't it. Have you started walking like John Wayne yet?

i had this when i was pregnant i had to lay in bed with my legs apart for 2 days as it was so sore to walk the doc gave me some antibiotixs for it, soon cleared it up

My god, here comes John wayne I can hardly walk this morning, im waiting for the doc to call me to advise what the hell to do.

I was in so much pain last night, i did a home remedy, promise not to laugh!!!!

Dried parsly and vinegar in a huge plaster..............Did it work???? Nope it made it worse.

Now where did I put that horse.............................

Oh i had this and they havent stopped since pregnant with Kiara I know how alot of scars between my legs in my thigh area so yucky.

I had one the other week, I made it worse by trying to squeeze it but its gone down now after I used antiseptic loads. It was an ingrowing hair I think that caused it.

Ouch you poor thing. I had a boil when i was 17 under my arm. i couldnt put my arm down. ended up going to docs and having it lanced by the nurse. i had to go back everyday for a week to keep emptying it
I was also put on antibiotics. it was the most pain i have ever experienced in my life (no anastetic (sp) either) but im sure thats just about to change

Oh Hun, I've only just seen this. I can so appreciate your pain. I had the same boil (in my groin ouch!) for 7 months last year!!!!!! It took forever to heal. I never went to the doctor as I'm such a wimp. It would flair up, burst and then flair up again. I thought it would never go and worried constantly it was something more serious.
So glad you've got yours sorted out now
