Bloody discharge, is this normal?

I had my hormone level test result yesterday and it came back very positive. However this morning I’m now having bloody discharge. Is this normal?

hi katie, i too have had this. i had a bleed last sunday and have had either pink on wiping or brown spotting on a pad all week, its really worrying but from what i gather unless its bright red with clots and pain its ok? thats what i have been told but i am going for a scan today to check, kinda dreading it incase bad news. good luck hunni hope all is well, phone ur mw and get it checked xxx

i think i should either be 6 w 4 d or 6w 6 days. so i'll be really disapointed if they cant see anything. altho i was speaking to a doctor at a private scan clininc and he says he picks up hb's at 5 weeks so if i dont see anything today not to panic and go to him afterwards and he'll scan me. i just pray i dont go and get bad news. i keep thinking that if i think all will be well i'll get bad news so trying not to get too hopeful but its hard. i think i say a prayer every time i go to loo now before i pee! its awful! how far on are u? xx

Well iv never hard proper periods so the doctors and MW dont really know. They think between 4-9 weeks. I think from my hormone levels and what i have read probaby about 4 weeks 3days. But I could be wrong.
Private Scan clinic sounds good as im not really getting any answers out of my local hospital.
What time is your scan today. Fingers tightly crossed for you xx
