DD has to have blood tests tomorrow. I'm really nervous :( Since her immunisations last week she has screamed whenever she's been with a stranger - my uncle, our friends, not people we don't know at all. She was never like this before. It's really weird as I was holding her for them so you'd think it would be me she'd blame. I'm really happy that it's not though!

Can anyone tell me what will happen - she's 9 weeks old. Where will they take the blood from? Will it take long? Are there ways to make it easier for her?

It may be different for your LO as she's older but when Cooper had his blood tests for his jandice it was from his heel. To make the blood flow better i massaged his leg and foot before he was pricked and make sure his foot was warm. He had this test 3 times and i only did this on the last one and he didn't cry at all :D
