Hi Kirlykird, well i read the link that Elaine posted so i think it has helped a bit i have a wrist blood pressure machine and id been feeling ill for a few days so decided to test it but as far as the results on the link im not having high blood pressure so i think thats good my reading came up at 111/62 can u tell me if this is normal or mayb its a bit low im not sure can we really trust the wrist machines im not sure i know the reading is something to do with ur age but im not sure how that comes into it, my age is well 32 this wednesday cominjg id b very happy to hear what u have to say thanks
Not too sure on the wrist pressure readers but I would imagine that as long as they are positioned in the correct place on the radial pulse it should pick up the correct reading as it should work the same as the electronic blood pressure readers.
As for the reading, that is in a healthy range for your age.
The systolic for a genearally healthy adult is 100/120 & the diastolic should be 60/80, so it is low average but still in the average 'normal' range.
