blood in poo again!!

when i saw doctor on sunday she said if Max has blood in his poo again to take him to casualty.... but im sure ive bene told loads of times its normal in newborns????

anyone???

all doctors are so concerned about his CMV that when anythings wrong they want me to take him to hospital even though in a normal newborn it wouldnt be an issue!! its coz they dont know enough about it to know what issues it may cause

I havent heard it's normal... Personally I would follow dr's advice and get it checked out just to be on the safe side. Good luck. Xx

I've heard blood in wee can be normal for newborn boys? Only first few weeks. Something to do with our hormones still being in their system? But not heard its normal for blood to be in poo. I'd get it checked. Better to be safe then sorry I guess.x

It can in very rare cases be a sign of internal bleeding so its best to get it checked out 99 % of the time its normal x

i phoned the specialist who dealt with him in London during the pregnancy and she said its nothing to worry about btu to go and get his platelets checked by blood test at hospital just to check its nothing to do with that

spoke to a paediatrition earlier and he said no rush, all tomorrow to book him an appointment n we'll go from there!!
