blood and mucous

hey ladies,

Max had blood and mucous in his poo this morning so i phoned doctors straight away and they've said its nothing to worry about but keep an eye on it for 24 hours.... just wondered if anyone else had this?

My LO has has blood in her poo and it was because she was constipated and straining really bad to go . I just made sure I gave her plenty of cooled boiled water and this helped xxx

hes pooing loads with it though?? so can he be constipated if its still coming out?? there was only blood once this morning, no more since.

shall i try water???xxx

If he is pooing loads I don't think he will be constipated . You can always try abit of water to see if it helps . Xxxx

Mucous is a sign of lactose intolerance, as is blood. Is it just a one off though? Maybe he has an upset tummy x

Just keep an eye on him, hope all will be fine, I'm sure it will, maybe because he has nappy rash already? xx

I'd forgotten about this! I had it today and I've been told to take him in tomorrow.
