Hi I was wondering if anyone else has has similar experiences,
My 16 week old has had a lot of feeding issues from day 1. Firstly being Tongue tied so I couldn't breast feed, then he started vomiting and having terrible wind. He was put on gaviscone which made no difference. Then he had 12 days of dhiarrea which I was told was gastrointritis. He had dyoralite for 24 hours and was happy but it started back up again as soon as he had aptimil. The gp said it was temporary lactose intolerance and put on nutramigen, on which he screamed for 2.5 hours after each feed. He was then put on wysoy and I had a happy contented baby. All was well until the health visitor got involved and said he wasn't allowed wysoy.
The doctor then changed us to pregestimil and the screaming started all over again until he had vomited or had explosive mucous dhiarrea after each feed.
We are now on neocate and he still has mucous green/ yellow loose stools which smell like something is rotting inside him. I really don't know if this is normal for neocate as I cannot find anything on the Internet. He now has ecsema alway. He is also bringing up quite a bit after feeds but not crying or screaming anymore. The doctor and health visitor are not concerned as he has never had a problem gaining weight. I feel like they are washing there hands of it, I still have no proper diagnosis of what is actually wrong with him and feel a little bit lost,

Please can anyone tell me if this is normal for neocate or should I not listen to what the health visitor says and switch back to wysoy I'm so confused!

I can't advise on that formula Hun but my little girl got diagnosed as lactose intolerant when she was 4 months old. she used to scream all day, was sick all the time, disgusting Nappies & gained weight very slowly! she was put onto sma lactose free & has been fine ever since. hope u manage to get some answers soon Xx
