Blocked ear-help!!

Caught Rubys cold, and have been really s**t this week, had a right stinker of one....lost my voice on tues/wednesday and have been off work the last 2 days.

On Tuesday night my ear suddenly went blocked, and I cant seem to pop it...when I lay down it was crackling and popping, and felt some warm liquid trickling out....next morning it was still blocked and hasnt got any better since. I cant hear from it, and get pains sometimes when I bend down.

Cold is clearing a bit today, but my head is so sore and bunged up

Sorry just feeling sorry for myself

How can I unblock my ear????

If its blocked due to wax then a few drops of olive oil in the ear should do the trick. If its more bunged up through cold then sudefed is what you need. hope you feel better soon

Sorry to sound thick...does Sudafed go in my ear??? ( I am desperate, I will try anything...)

lol. the link didn't say you sniff it, but reading it, i would assume it was to be smelt.

ooops, sorry. you swallow sudofed, its a tablet. It says its for the nose and throat but it helps your ears too. My mum swears by the stuff lol

Found a packet of Sudafed in the cupboard before bed last night (OH had them last time he had a cold)...

I defo feel tons beta today, they have helped clear the stuffy head and headaches but my ear is still blocked!! I cant her a thing from it!! OH is going mad coz I keep saying "you what? I cant hear you"........
