Blocked ear...

One of my ears is completely blocked...I have this problem quite a bit and usually get some steroid ear drops from the doctors. I have some left over from last time however I know I can't take them while pregnant without the doctors say so...

...the problem is I can't get a bl**dy appointment at the doctors and the ear is so blocked that I can't hear anything at all...it's driving me spare

Any advice???

have you got a nice friendly pharmacist? they're quite good at advising in these situations?

hope it gets better soon - i've had the same, and its so frustrating...

Yes you can get drops in the chemist and they chould be safe for use. Would your surgery let you speak to a Dr on the phone to ask?

Have you ever tried ear candles - I read about these recently and they sound good and are natural.

Thanks guys...I went to the chemist but they won't give me anything as its a recurring problem

Ella, I'm a qualified thermal auricular (ear candle!) therapist but unfortunately I have an infection so the candles cannot be used!!!

But if anyone is in my area and wants their lugs doing I'm available
