so it's been about a month now we had a blighted ovum pregnancy we have been trying for 10 years and the first year I had a miscarriage 9 years later at 6 weeks I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum pregnancy what are the chances that I can actually get pregnant with a healthy baby! I'm just scared that I'm going to be trying for another 10 years and nothing we really want to have our own family its so heartbreaking that we haven't been able to have a baby yet any words of advice inputor encouragement or similar stories please and thank you

Im not even sure what to say to you, but felt i couldn't read and leave. Im so sorry to hear about your loss and heartbreak. I too had a blighted ovum just afew weeks ago. That being my 3rd so i can empathise with you.
Will your doctor offer you tests? So you can try and get some answers?
Take care x

He said it's most likely because I had a bacteria infection and didn't know it from getting an leap done he said the important thing is that I did get pregnant and that I should be able to get pregnant again right away so 11 more days till I take a test so please keep me in your prayers and hope God will bless us with a baby! After the 3 one their supposed to do testing to figure out y so u should ask ur ob they'll know where to go! Best of luck to u hunnie

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I had two blighted ova in a row too. 2011 and 2012. The first one was natural miscarriage. The second one I had a D and C. Good news is that the third one was successful. I got pregnant again last 2013 and now, she's a beautiful 7 month old healthy baby girl. I was so down when it happened and I had to do a search on the web what causes blighted ovum or whether I can still have a healthy pregnancy after a series of miscarriage. For whatever reason, I couldn't find any thread and post that confirms they had a healthy baby after blighted ovum twice in a row. And I would like to reassure would-be-moms out there not to lose hope. I was 37 when I delivered my LO. God is great!
