Bleeding

Anybody else had a bleed, l had a small amount of bright red blood when l went to the toilet twice yest. Went to hosp got a scan baby seems fine (having a boy) placenta lying a bit low but this might sort itself. No reason given. Flying to America on Saturday and shitting myself now.

I've had a bleed in second tri too and like you, everything was fine - no explanation or reason for it. It seems fairely common to be honest so I wouldn't worry about it.

I have had several bleeds my latest being last monday, mine seem to be caused by an erosion on my cervix. How far along are you?

Yeah i have had a fair sized bleed. I was told its was my cervix at hospital, but a week later at my 20 week scan they found i had placenta praevia which is unlikely to resolve. I have been told to get my butt straight to hospital if it happens again and thankfully it hasn't. We have been banned from intercourse too though

I am sure you will be fine and it was probably that low lying placenta being a bugger, i would perhaps be very careful if you are having intercourse, and rest when ever you can to reduce the risk of another bleed.

Had another bit of bleeding tonight and had to go in. Listened to baby heartbeat and gave me anti d injection. Also examined me and couldnt see where blood is coming from. So none the wiser. They said l wont increase the chances of a miscarriage by going on holiday, if its going to happen its going to happen anyway. Wanted to hear that everything is going be ok though but they cant do that. Thats me 16 weeks and 1 day.

Oh i do hope everything is ok, i bet your little tinker is just trying to scare you! I remember a friend a few years back having to have the anti d injections, she had quite a few bleeds and she just kept going back for the jabs, her baby is 5 years old now keep your chin up hun xx
