Alanna is driving me a bit bonkers :p Shes got 6 teeth in now, and is ALWAYS biting me! Shes gettin around a bit on the floor now so goes for my feet, and it HURTSSS

And she SHRIEKS! omg.. its just her getting excited n talking but my poor ears :wall2:

Aaaand now she doesnt want to sleep either. Shes being going to sleep all on her own at 6 / 6:30 pm, and was sleeping through to 6am... Now she wakes up atleast 3 times before 1am!

Help me fix it >< lol :wall2:

I remember that phase well lol! Although LO has never really been a biter thankfully (I've probably jinxed that now lol!). When she bites just gently stop her ad tell her no, that hurts mommy, she will understand.

As for the sleeping, do you use blackout blinds or shutters? I'm guessing the darker the room the better, that was the only way LO improved, although it still took a couple of weeks! If she wakes in the night, is she hungry or just wanting a cuddle?

Oz is entering this phase. He bites my nipples though when feeding!! Severe pain and OMG I scream and he looks concerned then laughs lol He will bite hands though, bit my OH the other day and well hurt him!! And he only has 2 teeth atm, dreading more coming through!

He also shouts and whines, doesn't shriek really but he is so so vocal now.

And he is waking alot too. Last night he woke 3 times in a row in his cot, night terrors though, but he just wouldn't sleep in the cot without them so had to have him back in with us.

No advice accept to bare with it coz i'm sure it's just a phase and they'll grow out of it soon (i hope lol)

xxxxxx

She just wants me, and her dummy back, I dont pick her up I just go in, leave the light off, give her a paci and leave. But if anyone else does it she just starts screaming! It has to be mommy! which sucks as im going back into work soon and wont be around at bed time >.< she has very thick curtains, it goes pitch black in there. I think it is just an attatchment thing.

You're probably right about it being an attachment issue, she's about the right age when self awareness starts to kick in! Seems cruel for it to start just as most moms have to go back to work! Hopefully she will grow out of it soon x

I hope so, Tomorrow will be the first night im not around at bedtime! My poor babysitter :(
