At work thiz afternoon noticed ankles were a bit swollen so put them up but a colleague urged me to get bp checked bottom value was 106 so advised gp but z colleague took me to mat unit as i work in the hospital next to it.......thats wen panic seg in and i really got a fright
Was put on the monitor and had regular bp checks bp started at 150/107 then 150/105 then it started coming down for a gd job they said otherwise id have bn transferred to glasgow ....they took bloods as ive had itchy feet an hands and also bloods for pre eclampsia ......after a bit of monitoring and a cranial nerve test bp came down slightly bloods didnt show pre eclampsia as yet so was allowed home
They sed if bloodx had shown pre eclampsia an with bp settling they would have delivered so needless to say im now at home with feet up off work for rest of the week at least xx
