Who's got one? and where did you get it from?

Is it ok to just get one of the usual gym/pilates one? as long as its the correct size for my height?

Last midwife I spoke really talked them up and said they were fab for opening up the pelvis etc and getting baby in good position :D

i am borrowing one from my friend whos just had a baby that reminds me i have to pick it up at somepoint or it will be to late lmao :rotfl:

i haven't got one, but you can ask for one at my hospital when you're in labour.

I had one n never used it, had a bounce before hand every now and again but i went in to be induced so thought bugger it ! Plus getting it all blown up into the car could have been a challenge :)

Ive just got a normal exercise ball. My delivery suite have same ones, so will be using theirs.
I go on it twice a day, just rocking my hips back and forth or in a circular motion. I also kneel down and lie on my front half on it. It helps get baby into a better position.
I got mine from Argos

I got one from JJB sports for 5 pounds. I love it...so comfortable to sit on in the evenings when watching TV and Im hoping it is going to keep baby in a good position for the birth :D

i have just a normal gym ball my mum picked it up for me thoug so not sure where its from.
I'm desperately spending as much time as i can on mine just bouncing, rocking or having my top half of body on it in the hope that my baby will turn head down soon

I can highly recommend them!! Had one during pregnancy but ended up using it as a footrest more than anything else. However, when I went into hospital to be induced, I started getting uncomfortable so found one on the ward and sat on it bouncing and trying to do sudoku! It fairly got things moving, an hour later at 1pm I was up in the labour suite - still bouncing! Spent the whole of labour sat on the ball, bouncing away and sooking on the gas and air :L Only came off it at half 6 as I was fully dilated and had to have my waters burst before pushing! An hour later, baby was in my arms! Can't imagine having to have gone through labour on the bed, bouncing is the way to go if you ask me!

Mine was a normal gym ball.

It was great when I was in early labour and needed to turn Fi as she was back to back. I spent a long time rocking on it, and i mean hours and it really helped me.

I got carpet burns i used it that much, lol

thanks girls! :D

Been trying to find a 75cm one, as I think I need it for my height..... these seem to be as rare and more expensive! typical!!
