Hi does anyone have any hints on how to remove bird poo from decking as it looks so horrible :( thanks xx

I've had a look on Google for tips for you an came up with this:

_____

Q: We have a out side deck that is covered. How do we stop birds from pooing all over the out door furniture.

A: I cover my outdoor furniture with aluminium. Then, I run an electric current through the them. when birds land on it to take a crap, they get fried.

Not only does my furniture stay poo free, but I also have a steady supply of barbequed meat.

LMAO I hope the guy was joking (think he was)

Wesley's whitewall cleaner - Great for removing bird poo. - Apparantly! I think it's an American brand though!

Bird droppings will usually soften with water and can be scraped or scrubbed away.

That's all I can find. Although instinct for me would be to get some warm water & some mild bleach with a brillo pad! :D

i use my hose an pinch the end so the spray is stronger is usually works for me??

Cheers hun
I would have to watch the kids with the electric current.
Looks like I am gonna have to get scrubbing :( xx

vingear, thats what i got told from how clean is your house

we have a jet wash that we clean our decking with, well our half decking, it still isnt finished loli tried doing a piece today...well its all wobbly and tilted..i tried, tried and thengave up like usually lol..

Somehow the birds manage to spatter our front door. No poo on the floor, none on the walls, they just fly and splat our door. Maybe their hoping to catch us on our way out one day?

Have you not got a pressure washer?

My DF done out neighbours decking last year, and it came up like new :D
