Bikini Wax

I'm going to go and get a wax. Nothing drastic, I just want it 'neat' for the birth, how late do you think I should leave it?

I haven't groomed down there for months and it is not pretty but have never had a wax and am scared that'll bring on labour if I have one now! Lol. I'd guess about 37 weeks though so likely to be tidy in the last part? Idk what I'm going to do. Dig out the shears and borrow some goggles!

Lol i had a panic went i went in 3 weeks ago.! thought "i cant possibly go in, havent shved my legs or anything!" paranoid now lol making sure everything is ok, going to have to trust hubby with the razor tho as I cant see a bloody thing or bend at all!

My MW made me laugh tho, shes said its worse when you have to work with the doctors, MWs etc.. she said she went in to early labour and her hubby was trying to drag her to the car, but she was fretting that she had to do her legs and her bikini line, "I have to work with these people you know!!" lol
I kinda get what she means!!

i've been wondering the same thing. i have a wax voucher already paid for from groupon so just need to book it in but if i did it now it might be up to 5 weeks before lo arrives so i'm taking a risk and going for 38 weeks i will be sooo upset if lo arrives and ive not had my wax!

olive go for it, it won't be as bad as labour i usually have them every few months and i have to admit the one i had while preggers hurt a fair bit more!! xx

I just got mine done Thursday. I think i have quite a high pain threshold tho. Had full leg, underarm, hollywood. Then had eyebrows waxed and dyed, i feel almost normal lol xx

Never waxed. Still managing to do my underneath bits blind, as for the front it's patchy to say the least lol

I'm dreading it but I'm going to get the wax booked lol! I feel more embarrassed about the sorry state it's I'm atm. Do you reckon I try and do a half arsed job that makes it not as bad or leave it for them to tackle lol

I get the shower stuff put a mirror on the toilet and slather it on! After 5 mins get in the shower and use the sponge to remove! Can't go wrong and looks a damn site better than it could apparently! (can't remember what my bits look like haha!)

I dont mind waxing too much as long as you have soemone who will do it quickly, I cant wax my own bits as I wimp out!! I am wondering the same thing, might get it all done at 37 weeks and then book again about 40 weeks to be on the safe side but Im not a massively hairy person to be honest!!

Ive been de-hairing using the new bikini razor, although Im doing with without seeing where Im shaving haha. Although Im thinking about getting my bikini line sugared in two or so weeks, as thats not as painful as waxing xxx

I can still do my own bikini line (requires some flexibility!)

I'll try a mirror next time, and if that fails, the man of the house will be needed!
