Big baby?

Hey girls, how are you all? looking at my scan photo does anyone think my baby is big for 12 weeks? bump measures 5 cm crown to rump. the sonographer didn't say much about their size but i think they look quite big and a few people have said bump is a big baby. I don't mind if they are big as long as they are healthy (which they are) im just curious really! OH thinks its a boy because of the big feet but i don't think it has anything to do with it! Any opinions would be great, thanks girls

Don't know really...your ticker says that a 12 week old is about 3 inches, so 5cm from crown to rump sounds in proportion to me?

My daughter was 9lbs 9 ozs and just short of 2 FEET LONG when she was born...think that was mostly my Drifter bars...lol
She was perfectly healthy and is tall and slim now.
You know what they say about big feet!!!
My daughter's got big feet but i don't know if that's significant for a girl...maybe just means big shoes....lol

Our 12week scan wasn't until 13weeks 5days and baby crown to rump was 7.4cm and at 10weeks 5days was measuring 3.37 so around 5 sounds normal...but then we are expecting a big baby as Im 5ft 10 and OH is 6ft 6in!! The legs on our scan seem to be the longest part but they didn't measure that, though sonographer did indicate baby was v.looooooong! xx

I think that's in the normal range for a baby of 12 weeks gestation. I'm sure there'll be some info on it on the net somewhere.

We had a private nuchal scan last week at 12 weeks exactly and our LO was measuring 5.5cm

Sounds about right. Around 5cms at 12 weeks. At this point they all tend to be within what is considered normal size. Its later on they may be longer/rounder etc and grow larger/longer etc.

People telling you now your baby is big doesn't really hold any truth.

Congratulations on your 12 week scan!

At my 12 week scan my baby measured 6cm crown to rump which she said is perfect for my dates and ive had a big bump since 10 weeks!
