Best time to have a 3d scan?

My lovely step dad is paying for me to have a 3/4d scan done. I had to book online because the clinic is closed for the summer holiday and the nearest date I could get was the 24th August when I will be 31 weeks, is this too late to get a good scan? I'll be so upset if it is as I have been nagging DH for one for ages

I had mine done at 30+2, and she told me the best time was between 26 and 32 weeks, so 31 should be okay. My sonographer was very pleased that LO was breech though as she said it was difficult if they are head-down and you go for a scan later.

The clinic i have chosen said after 32 weeks the baby is too big to move about too much, so you should be fine at 31 weeks...

I bet you cant wait, I cant wait for mine and its AGES away

I haven't got a scanner but I think DH will be able to scan them at work. I am so dissappointed I have to wait so long. When they are back from their holidays I will call them and see if they've had any cancellations. That's the crap thing about living in Denmark, there are so few people living here that everything shuts down for the summer holidays!

i was told the best time is between 27/30 weeks, but u can have them up until 32 weeks,
