What was the best thing anyone got you or you got for baby and yourself? ATM for me it's nipple cream which helps as mine hurt and for baby a bean bag from birth to 8 years handy to move around and keep baba cosy. Xxx
The best thing I ever got bought with my daughter was a bouncy chair - biggest god send in the world I can tell you! Also cold water sterilisers, I would never go back to any other kind after having a milton cold water! x
I must admit hand knitted baby clothes are very special I've still got 3 of my white ones my nan knitted so I've kept those for baby because she passed away and they mean a lot. Steriliser we got a microwave one which is the bane of my life!!! God it's a pain but as long as babies bottles are done that's all that matters xxx
Haha yes it will be interesting I may find the bean bag is horrific to use but then again we never know....I didn't even think of getting dummies!!! Ooops clearly I'm not as on the ball as i thought I was. Do dummies actually come with an age on them? Xxx
Dummies and socks for h8m and a bfing cushion for me!
A lot of what was bought we have used tbf, a baby bath is invaluable for me as I'm not tall enough to reach over the big bath without causing damage to already damaged knees and the sling we were bought was amazing for the first few weeks. As he got bigger he didn't like how confined it was but we have a different sling this time around which gives me two free hands so will hopefully be better for me.
The bouncer was another life saver but so was the play mat! The top and tail bowl was great too, but we hardly used muslins!
Oooh that's a lot of very good things kumber, I find I already use muslins as I've been over heated during the hotter days my mum said to wet them and pop them in the freezer for 5 mins and wrap it round my neck....it's heavenly, natural baby balms too I got given and ive used it for skin rashes as I have very sensitive skin and have had a bad rash on both forearms for at least a year Drs creams made it so much worse but the balms I got are amazing. The bean bag is pretty nifty though as our bouncer is a bit bigger than I thought it was going to be and if incase I end up csec the. I can't be lugging that about xxx
Dummies come in 0-6 months, 6-12 months type sizing and say size on packet. Asda has Tommy tippee ones really cheap all time I loved Muslins with my daughter and went through loads. Just depends on the person really x
H16, I reckon it goes on the baby! I would have loved to use all the muslins we got as I think they're lovely but our ds was a milk spitter and insane dribbler so bibs were the only things that saved his clothes I'm hoping we'll get to use them this time round with bfing, bibs are so blinking finniky!
I love TT dummies too, but do yours lose their wee animals from your cold water steriliser? Ours have and I'm wondering if it's from the Milton.
Dummies do always go missing lol I always have to buy more! Muslin also were a God send more so when he was older with mess or sick, or in the hot weather to just pop over him at nap time. We got given a lovely bouncer n a jumparoo which were both amazing n cudnt of lived without.
They did lose pics from the Milton but we haven't sterilised them in Milton since she was a year old, just use boiling water now and the pics still come off quickly which is a shame x

I've noticed a difference also since we stopped sterilising but, like you, they're still coming off. You'd think they'd make the designs a bit more durable as they are really lovely. The little green frog is my fave but both froggie faces on our two are almost gone
Muslins we used loads of last time, but never really used bibs as Belle was breast fed. Dummies were great to have in ready for a day we might need them ~ that way you don't have to drag a screaming baby out to the shops if you suddenly need them. Socks ons are brilliant too ~ they looks expensive at about £6 for 2 pairs and there isn't much to them but we never lost a sock ~ they are great x
