Hi

our little boy is about to turn one on Wednesday!

When he was much younger we always put him to sleep on his back and this proved successful and I wasn't worried so much

NOW however he is that bit older and more mobile and tends to sleep on his belly with his face in the mattress a little which does worry me

Cant seem to move him, if we do, he will stir and then fall back to sleep in his favourite position

Should we be concerned? Anything we can do?

He has just started sleeping really well and not waking up much in the night and if he does, he sends himself back off to sleep very quickly but I am just a little concerned about the position

we don't have bumpers or anything, but even still.....

Any thoughts or comments?

thanks

I think at one year old they will sleep however most comfortable. I'm sure he will turn his head should he be struggle to breath properly. My lo used to sleep like this with his bum in the air and face in the mattress. I'm sure he will be fine

that sounds very similar! Am happy he seems to be sleeping well and able to send himself back to sleep as before he always wanted comforting but it just worried me a little but as with adults we all have a fave position I guess ;-)

Another tummy sleeper with his bum in the air here! I don't understand how it's at all comfortable, but presumably it is...! :D
