Its all changed here, no booking in appt around 8-10 weeks with a mw.

Nope just wait for your scan appointment, see the consultant at the same time, book your 20 week scan, first see the community mws around 24 weeks.

Someone pick my jaw up off the floor please



Edited to add: Not sure whether there is a 16 wk appt at the hosp or not, blimming well hope so

omg!! that is disgusting!! I know they are more relaxed if it's your 2nd or more but 24wks?? That's a joke, my jaw would be stuck to the floor too xx

Thanks, have to admit in my shock of not being referred back to community mw (who I really like btw) until 24 weeks shocked me so mcuh I didnt ask whether there was a 16 week appt at hosp or whether it was just the 12 week consultant.

I'm just peeved having to wait those extra 4 weeks before any urine tests, family history etc etc

And I thought I was bad no one wanted to see me until 8!!

I don't mind so much as I've read lots and come on here so know the do's and don'ts and what's normal etc.

But imagine if you didn't read or go online. You'd be completely in the dark and could be doing something dangerous for 8 weeks!
