Oliver still sleeps in a sleeping bag, as he is all over the place in bed. Last night he was a nightmare. Although he was poorly he just wouldn't settle in his cot. And he loves his cot! I was wondering if maybe he was chilly. He slept today, but woke up half an hour later and only went back to sleep when he was tucked up in my bed, with my duvet and pillow. So I have sent MIL to get him a pillow and duvet for it while she is in Bluewater. Not sure if it will work or not!

What do your LO's do?

Lucie was about 14 months when she started refusing to sleep in her grobags. She loved her duvet and pillow. I think when they get that wee bit bigger they wanna snuggle up in their duvet... just like we do i suppose. You could try a lower tog sleeping bag and maybe a wee light sheet instead tho.

Hebe's had a pillow for a few months since she had a cough I think. I think we went to a duvet about the same time. The sleeping bags was ok when she was little but I find the duvet works well for us now. :)

Nim is still in a sleeping bag. She has a light blanket over that, but it normally goes straight out of the cot, so I don't think she is ready for a quilt and pillow just yet

Rosie wears a vest, warm pyjamas and a sleeping bag - sometimes when she wakes in the night I am convinced its because she is cold! I have just taken her pillow out of her cot as I think she sleeps better without it. I would love to get her a duvet but I think she would pull it off and then get cold. I may wait until she is in her own bed; at the moment her sleeping bag suits her quite well still.

If you think she's cold a blanket could help if you think she would be able to pull it off when she's too hot and put it over herself if she's too cold.

I can't really remember how capable they are at that age!

ffion has a pillow and duvet but i have to tuck the pillow under the fitted sheet because she likes to put it over her head

I did think about getting a slightly bigger duvet and tucking it under the mattress so that she couldnt pull it off; perhaps I will do that when this colder weather has cleared off :)

AJ has had a pillow and duvet (the end under the mattress) and has done since his 1st birthday(ish).

He was getting cold and with long sleaved vests, sleepsuits, high tog grobag and 3+ blankets, we decided it was time.

Well, we bought him a pillow and duvet the other day and he has slept beautifully ever since! He looks so snug :cloud9: Lets hope it's not just a fluke!
