LO is soooo bored of the dozen or so rubber duck type bath toys we've used since birth that things like taps and any shampoo or soap bottles in reach are always far more interesting to play with!!

Any ideas for bath toys (for 2 years)??

Kids love empty bottles to pour with so save your money and start keeping your empties for bathtime :)

Austin's got some foam letters for his bath, they stick to the side and he loves playing with them. Also plastic cups and similar for pouring water.

Oh I've tried that, plastic beakers, empty bottles etc.....results in very wet bath mats and carpets etc, for some reason anything that holds water gets used to dump it over the side. Not good.

We have sticky to the bath/wall when wet letters too (forgot we had those) sometimes LO likes them, sometimes not. I remember as a kid having like a big water wheel thing that stuck to the bath (or tiles, can't remember which), it had penguins that slid down a slide a big turning wheel when you poured water on it etc, can't find anything like that in shops for LO now.

We brougt our daughter a water crab which fixes to the bath with suction pads, you pour water into it and it blows bubbles, it cost about £14 and it was a complete waste of money, she shows little interest in it and is much happier using her stacking cups to pour water with.
