Basal Body Temps are low and I haven't ovulated in nearly 2 months

I'm so confused. I hope I'm in the right place.

I started tracking my cycle, temping and using OPKs back in July time. I'm almost 22.
I noticed right from the start of this temping business that my BBT was 'low' compared to other women. On average I would have temps of 36.10-20 before ovulation with it rising after to only around 36.60.

In October I didn't find a temp spike at all, I also didn't get a positive OPK. Following this, my AF never arrived. I know I didn't ovulate in October.

I'm currently CD51 and I still haven't seen AF. My partner was happily convinced that I would get a BFP but I haven't. I'm not pregnant - and besides, how could I be pregnant when I haven't ovulated.

Anyway, four days ago I took an OPK. Almost positive, so convincing that I'm still unsure as to whether it WAS positive or not. I also had EWCM along with all of this and cervix was high and open. I tried not to be fooled by any of this because last month (October) I also had the same symptoms but never ovulated.

My BBT went as follows over the past 5 days-

Saturday - 36.31
Sunday- 36.11
Monday - 36.17
Tuesday - 36.31
Wednesday (Today) - 35.84

I was hopeful that the drop and rise between Sunday to Tuesday meant that I had O'd, however I temped this morning and my temps have shot down!! I thought that the first 'dip' I had may have been an ovulation dip and felt very optimistic, I was even happier when I saw my temp rise the day after - however it's clear to me now that it wasn't an ovulation dip as my dip this morning was even lower than any of them.

I'm taking my temps at the same time every single day, without fail. (The moment I wake up)

Please offer me advice. I'm at a loss. I'm currently awaiting blood tests from my doctor (I'm actually in the waiting area as we speak, haha) I think he is testing for thyroid related issues and my hormones. I'm not sure if I do have thyroid issues but I know I'm usually a much 'colder' person than others. I'm often freezing whilst my boyfriend is fine just wearing his underwear in the house. My hands and feet are usually always cold too, however I've always put this down to poor circulation as I don't exercise much.

Thank you.

I don't think your temps are too low. My pre-ovulation temps are 35.80 and luteal up to 36.45. The fertility doctor said this wasn't a problem. Good you are having blood tests. Can you get a referral to gynaeocology or fertility to see what's going on with your hormones? In my experiences GPs are not experts at handling this kind of thing.

Is your BMI normal? Weight issues can cause hormonal imbalances. Makes sense to check the thyroid.

The 'dip' this morning could be ovulation. I find it helpful to chart on paper so I can see what's going on.

I'm often cold but don't have thyroid issues. I hope you get some idea of what's going on soon. x
