The boots club do that changing bag when you join. There's a lot of local cloth nappy schemes, there's a link in the alternative parenting part on here for them, I got £70s worth of samples for £10! really good to see the different types before you buy lots of them.

Sign up to all the food people
Organix give you a free folder and send vouchers all the time
aptimil send baby rice and other bits
Heinz send vouchers and food

Boots are the best, I've saved a fortune with their vouchers.

"like" all the brands on Facebook too and you can see special offers and competitions.

Join all the baby clubs, sainsburys, tesco, asda, mothercare etc

Mamas and papas give you a £5 voucher if you order their catalogue online.

If I think of any more I'll let you know!

i dont know if they still do it but u get some free things after baby born from midwife x

Not freebies, but a friend of mine who works in the industry said to go for own brand nappies(like Tesco), make sure you are buying A grade ones but he said its the same manufacturer and first time parents buy Pampers or Huggies so all the marketing is aimed at them(us!).

I did get my freebies from bounty and now waiting for Sainsbury's club, also joined boots club.

I found that TK Maxx near me does have bargains as well (Avent steriliser for £15!)

I just found this advice on how to save money on baby wipes. Thought I'd share:

"Baby wipes can also get expensive. Most thrifty and experienced moms however realize that they can make their own! You don't have to use a washcloth either, which can get tedious and dirty. There are actually several different recipes available for making baby wipes. The most common include the following:
  • Single roll of thick paper towels cut in half.
  • Two cups hot water.
  • 2-4 tablespoons of baby bath.
  • Resealable container big enough to hold wipes.
All you have to do is mix the water and baby bath in your container and add the paper towels. Seal the container and you have home made wipes at less than half the cost of what they sell for in the store!"

Have anyone tried this?

I got a good deal with my baby monitor, I paid £33 (free del) for it through amazon, but apparently Asda & sainsbury's are also selling it for this price! It's the Tomy Digital (not digital plus!) which sells for £59.99 in mothercare & many other places.

I signed up to loads of baby clubs too, they all have a little something to offer!
