Hi to all,
I used my bambino mio nappies with my little boy up until he was just over a year and then we stopped as he was running around and they were too bulky. I'm using them again with my little girl, but her thighs are huge and she has never been able to wear jeans or trousers as we cant get them over her thighs and nappy! It hasn't really bothered me as such as she is a dressy girl anyway, but now that she is moving around alot and pulling herself up on everything, the nappies are just so bulky. I love my nappies and really dont want to stop so early on (she is almost 9mths), does anyone else have this problem or is it the bambino mios? any thoughts and opinions please!

Oh no, my boy is quite skinny so we don't have the same problems but I find bumgenius and totsbots easyfits a really slim fit and I think will fit him til he's potty trained.

Why not see if you can sell the ones you have on cloth nappy tree and try some others x

Bambino mios are the only nappy I've ever given up on for the same reason, I could never get them to fit Lizzie right! It's definitely worth trying others. If you like the style of the mios then try mothercare smartnappies, they are very similar in how you put them together etc :)

I don't like them either, but as far as clothes are concerned there's a wahm on CNT (Littlepants) who makes clothes to order, so you can have them made to the size you want, and they will fit over proper nappies.

Thanks guys, seems I chose the wrong nappies:roll:! It was after I had been using them with my son that I found out that you can trial cloth nappies out to see which ones suit! I now live in Malta and unfortunately, cloth nappies are unheard of here and I get people thinking I am nuts for using them, so changing them for different ones at this stage is probably more hassle than its worth as I would have to do it all online!
