Are the birthing balls the same as yoga balls? Am wondering if one would help strengthen my back a bit or are they not advised for this? I wouldn't be bouncing around on it....at least not in front of OH cos he'd get daft ideas

We are having a major clearout and furniture put into storage so will have enough room for one soon

Ta ever so xxxxxxx

They're great for your back. I have a yoga one instead of a proper birthing one and it wasn't really any different to the one I had in the hospital x

Excellent thank you hun.....that's another one for the Christmas list lol xxxxxxxx

 What an exciting present to unwrap
Meant to say was it you who is going to St Peters? I used to live just down the road from there! Still not that far away but have moved now x

Yeah I live in weybridge so it makes sense. They seem really nice there so far. The maternity unit has all been done up. Thing is if the M25 kicks off at chertsey it could take us an hour to get there lol so planning will be needed I think. Are you going there or somewhere else? xxxxxx

I'll be at Frimley Park but I went to school in Chertsey and used to spend all my nights at the Mitre or Hand & Spear in Weybridge because everyone I knew lived over there
I had surgery on my hand there when I was 11 though and it was a lovely hospital then before any of it was done up! x

I think the Mitre is shut now and the Hand & Spear is about 6 quid a pint :faint:. It's so expensive here its ridiculous lol

 I'm so glad I was young when things were cheap

Have you tried yoga hun? It has helped me significantly :)

Search online pregnancy yoga and there are loads of exercises you can try.

I will hun thank you. I'm still trying to do my karate stretches as they have always helped my back, unfortunately they don't show you how to levitate back up to a standing position lmao xxxxxx

I've bought just a normal exercise one, and I think it's great! I've sat on it to try and get rid of tummy ache and it went within seconds!
