Bad nappy rash!

Hey need some help metanium is not helping at all! Read good things about egg white? What would people recommend it's down the crotch on his winky and bum using cool water and cotton wool only to wipe but his bum is painful to clean. Xxx

Iv tried all sorts and the only one i buy now is bephanton sorry about the spelling haha. Have you changed nappies?

Lots of nappy free time helps, my lo only ever gets nappy rash when teething badly and it usually goes and comes quickly but can be very sore. I used sudocrem and one time I had to use canestan as I really struggled to make t better

Calendula from weleda but if it's that bad might be worth going docs to see if there's nothing else causing it to spread that far. Nappy off time and perhaps size up. My son got covered in a rash when they only had size 5's available last summer on holiday and only limited shops stocked
6/ 6+ that were suitable because some 6's are still too tight.

Honey if Metanium isn't helping then you might need Canesten or possibly an equivalent with a bit of steoroid in it, but you need t see a doctor for it... Sweetie are you sure you are using yellow Metanium or a regular one? I m just checking cause a yellow one always helps my little one... Apart from that he best advise I can give is don't wipe with cotton wool or anything , I just pick my lo up and stick her bum under the running water and clean it this way, this way it's totally pain free for them cause when they get a bad rash ( and mine just had a case of that ) any wiping/rubbing is painful. Just let nice warm emperature water run and put his bum and front under it and clean him up. Then I just dab with a very soft towel. And my main remedy is loads and loads of nappy free time hun. Good luck , I know how hard this can be...

Have you tried the Lansinoh HPA Lanolin Nipple Cream?

In your case, if its severe, I'd always recommend doctors first though

It's definitely yellow metanium but I wanted to take him the Drs tomorrow just incase to be honest. It's just so sore it's taking the metanium off that's the issue he's in so much pain he's had a nice warm bath and then nappy free time and let it all air dry as much as possible tomorrow we're not going out so he'll be without a nappy most of the day. He's had a upset tummy as well since switching to cows milk but always been fine with it in his food so I'll bring that up as well! Thank you ladies we've also got zinc and Clive oil cream so I hope that helps xxx

I'm trying to ring the Drs it's not open for another 10 mins. He woke at 3am screaming cause he'd piied and it's acidy so I think teething but he can't even sit down he just cries and my dr can actually see it because it's that bad even gently running the water and putting him under it is causing him pain my poor baby xxx

Okay so we've got some cream to use twice a day and he's going to be nappy free when he wakes up we've been out since 10 so he needs to sleep he hasn't had a sleep until now so he'll be out till 5 at the latest my poor boy he's had plenty of mummy snuggles too xxx

You probably haven't heard of it but why don't you try tiny troubles salve. I wouldn't class this as a cream more of a balm (almost feels like a very soft lip balm). Smells gorg and now when my baby sees it he gets all excited because he seems to know this is what took away his painful bottom.
