So i have really bad backache, constantly needing to pee and it feels like my stomach at the bottom is bruised. My pelvis or hips or something keeps clicking when i stand from a sitting position. What is it? Is it normal? Im confused cause im 24 weeks and a lil worried. I also feel really sick and have a headache .

the backache sounds normal to me. I researched some of the pains you can get when i did a post for my blog about side effects. I came across stuff that explained you can get two types of back pain- one of which can be lower back and into the bottom, and you can get sharp pains, aches and can even feel like trapped nerves.

I imagine ur hips are clicking because you now have a lot of relaxin in ur body which is there to stretch the hips, stomach and other muscles to prepare for the baby enlarging and for birth. If it hurts a lot, then talk to your MW who may suggest you be referred for physio or for tests to check ur hips are ok, but im sure ur fine

i have a bad back due to an old injury and its hurting a lot most days now, i get stiff and sore and click a lot when i get up. im pretty much limping if i sit for too long lol

It might be worth getting your wee tested too in case it's a uti/kidney infection. I had killer back ache when I had a KI a few years ago. If it's clear ask to see a physio

Could be a urine infection like BabyBrain suggested and that would make you feel sick too - I have that bruised feeling at the bottom of my tummy I think the baby kicks a lot down there - sometimes pregnancy feels like falling apart LOL

I'd defo get a urine test done but it also sounds like SPD. I even went to the hospital the other week thinking I had a infection and it was the SPD. Backache, pain in tummy like it was bruised, needing to pee, feeling sick, being sick, headache. xxxxxxxxx

Thanks all. Am seeing my mw tomorrow, well, today so ill speak to her then. The pin is still there and my tummy is stil feeling a bit sicky but the hedache has gone. Although i did have a bad case of a sickness bug on wednesday. Which might explain the sick feeling i was having. My first pregnancy an all i can do is complain lol i feel bad for it.
