I know I'm only 15 weeks tomorrow but I was sitting on the sofa on Saturday with my knee's up and I had a very strange sensation in my tummy. It was almost like a bubble bursting inside me. It only happend the once and I straightend my legs out I didn't feel anything again.

I've felt exactly the same feeling again yesterday and again it only happened once and then i didn't feel it again.

Could this be the baby or is it too early for me to be able to feel anything?? It's my first pregnancy so I don't really know what it's supposed to feel like and I don't know when i'm supposed to start feeling it.

When did you first feel movements and what does it feel like???

I definately think you are starting to feel baby's movements! :D

Mine started around 16 weeks with the bubbles sensation occurring every day for a few days then pretty quickly delicate little taps and kicks came along. Now it is every couple of hours and becomming a little routine.

At 14 1/2 weeks I felt an increased pressure every now and again where baby was. I didn't know what it was to start with but by 16 weeks I could feel what I assume was her turning as was quite uncomfortable at times.

It wasn't until 20 weeks that I started getting kicks which turned into outside kicks within a week.

Hi

I'm pretty sure I felt some movement around the 15 week stage and this is my first baby. It was exactly as you described it- like something popping in my belly. I think your baby is an early mover :D

I have feel my first movement on Sunday night :cheer: Finally at 21w+4! It sounds as though that is your LO Chrissy, congrats :cheer: Do you know if you placenta is at the back? If so apparently you are likely to feel movement earlier. Apparently if you lie on your back or your side it can be easier to feel any movement!

For me, it was really odd feeling like the twitch that you get sometimes when your eye twitches involuntarily but in my belly ( in line with my hips so down quite low). It kept happening so I got OH to put his hand over it and he actually fell the twitching too! But it didn't feel from the outside like twitching, it felt like someone was flicking my belly from within! It wasn't in a rhythm so I'm hoping it wasn't just a weird twitching not baby related :)

I figure seeing as he is able to kick hard enough for it to be felt on the outside that I may have been feeling but not noticing movement for some time  That is amusing as I have been moaning that I was the only person of 20+ weeks that hadn't felt anything! I never felt any bubbles like people report but I had felt stitch like feelings and pressure from the inside that I put down to organs moving around.

I was 20 weeks- it felt like I was waiting ages but now she's a right little wriggler!

:cheer: :cheer: I'm well excited now. I thought it was just my imagination but I'm glad you think it could be my bean wriggling.

Funny you should mention that about the pressure Hazel because I was saying to my DH that it was feeling uncomfortable to bend down and fasten my shoes because it felt like I was putting pressure on my lower tummy....really low down. The best I could describe it was feeling like there is a tennis ball inside my tummy and I'm squishing it when I bend over.

I really hope it is my bean.... I can't wait until it gets stronger and it's unmistakeable movements.... :cheer:

Hiya chrissy :) that sounds to me like your little one is making its presence known :D YAY congratulations - its lush int it :D Wait til little one starts trampoliing on your bladder.. that can sting a little lol :)

Thanks :D I think I might have been ignoring him up until now  He hasn't stopped - he's kicking right now

Defo sounds like bubs is letting him/herself be felt :D

I felt movements from 14.5 weeks onwards, just flutterings and then at 16.5 weeks I felt stronger movements. He/she hasn't stopped since. I absolutely love feeling him/her moving around.

It just gets better, especially when you see your bump moving with the stronger movements.
