Baby's dry scalp

My LO has a dry scalp and has flakes that look like dandruff. I've been rubbing some olive oil into her scalp which seems to soothe it. Should I be washing off the olive oil or can I leave it on the scalp?

i was told the same thing. I was also told that if i get a soft brush and use that to work the oil in that would help, but i never tried.

luke had this as a baby and we started to use dentinox cradle cap shampoo and it cleared it within a couple of weeks we still use it now to prevent it coming back. really recommend it.

I used to put vaseline on Jake's head, leave it for an hour and then wash it off. It worked really well.
