I never got one, only because we don't really have room for one and also my Mum is a social worker and I couldn't be bothered listening to the huge amount of grief she would have given me about it
I personally think they're ok if they aren't used all the time. I used to carry Emma in a sling when I did the housework, she would fall asleep and it was great, until she got too heavy

Kiyanna and Elise both loved their baby walkers, dont no what i would of done without them if im honest with u, Kiyanna used to play in hers whilst i was doing my school work and Elise just loved running around in it and cryed when i took her out lol
