Which ones do you have and do you reccommend???
Me and OH went up to boots yesterday and there was so many to chose from that we walked away without one, i just used a little cheap digital one with Harrison but now they have all these new ones out i'm at a loss at which one to get, plus i also found it hard to keep him still enough for long enough to get a clear reading with the digital stick ones!

How much did you pay for yours? we have seen them between £14.99 and £69.99

We have the Braun in-ear one, and I wouldn't be without it to be honest. It reads her temp quickly, maybe 2-3 secs? Its RRP about £40 but we managed to get it when it was on offer in Mothercare for about £33. Just had a look, and boots has it on offer for £31 online! Might be worth looking on there as they seem to have a few on offer.

My HV also said there is a new one out that you run over their forehead, but it still reads core temperature like the in-ear ones. Sounds good, but she wasn't sure if they were as good as the inner ear ones as she hadn't tried it.

Hope that helps.

I've got the calpol one, i got it for 4.99 when there was an offer on in boots. I wouldn't be without it as my elsest whenever ill (which isn't too often thankfully) gets a very high temp and if we don't catch it quick enough he ends up in hosp.

We have an in ear nurofen thermometer from Lloyds Pharmacy. Easy to use and reads out them temp to you :)
It was a bargain at £9.99.

I use a simple digital one mostly. I'd not spend a fortune. I used to work for a GP and she had 2 digital ones both for less than £15 for her kids.

I also have a forehead one as a quick indicator if I just want to check and he won't play ball with the digi one under his arm.

We also have the Nurofen thermometer from Lloyds Pharmacy. Easy to use and was only £9.99. The replacement covers aren't expensive either.

We had a nurofen one and it kept giving false readings so we now have a Braun one that was recommended by my GP and the one that most doctors use. It was £29.00 and is HERE

We have the Braun one and I think it is the best one out there! Ive tried plenty LOL

We've got a simple digital one and a Braun ear thermometer. The Braun one is so much easier and quicker to use. I bought the Braun for about £27.
