We are thinking of getting baby swing for Emily. She already hasabouncy chair which she enjoys, but it doesn't bounce unless I rock it... I'm thinking she would really like one of the swinging chairs. Does anyone have any recommendations as thereseemtobe sooooo many different ones out there?
Thanks ladies! :)

Hi we have the starlight one from mamas and papas it has 5 swing settings dependant on your baby's weight, plays music and had a canopy over the swing with twinkling LCD lights. It is pretty expensive compared to some of the other swings but worth the money in my opinion plus if you wanted to sell it after your done with it they go for a good on eBay. My lo loves his and always falls asleep in it. Xx

I just boiught Alyssia one last weekend as she cant sit in her bouncer and wont nap anywhere other than her pram so wanted something more reclined. We bought the bright starts comfort and harmony baby swing got it from mothercare for £55 and its fab and works a treat, has 2 positions and 6 swing speeds and music as well. I would reccomend it cos i can actually put her down somewhere now and she will nap in it! Godsend! Spoke to a few friends and they said the ones that swing both ways are good there is a fisher price one but that was near to £100 and looks massive as well! XX

Omg get one its the best thing i ever bought, mine is a mammas and pappa's dream swing there eighty pound new but got mine for fifteen pounds on ebay and well worth the money its loverly looking, plays music has different sitting positions a toy bar and you can plug in ipod using a jack to jack lead... it also clips still so you can use as a chair to wean (one girl on reviews did) ...its this one...
