hey i have two boy and two girls names in mind for our new baby, just wondered what the different meanings are that u guys have, i have alex and harry if its a boy and sasha and nikki if its a girl, cheers for your reply guys

yeh its just rreally interesting to me to know the meanings, thats a lovely name you have chosen, did u do it just cos u like the name or is has it got sentimental value etc

we have picked both our Dad's names for the middle names for this one.

We just liked the names both times. Sam has my grandad's name as his middle name but Toby was just something we both wanted

Our son is called John-Rhys, in my husbands family it is tradition to call the boys John-something and to call them by the something so although our sons name is John-Rhys we call him Rhys. So the John part is tradition.. we chose Rhys because, i dunno actually.. it was just a name we liked.

Our daughter is called Ffion Lowri (Fee-on Low-ree(not L-our-ee)) we knew we wanted a welsh name to go with our sons name, Ffion is the welsh version of Fiona, it means fair/white/beautiful and when she was born she had pure white hair lol. Lowri we chose because we liked it.

English names we thought of for both children were Freddie,Charlotte,Martha and Thomas ... just because we liked them though not for meanings.

we liked kai, it means fire ?(the kind that makes things stronger rather than destroys things) but then OH changed his mind because wayne rooney called his son that haha :L
