Do you have one? If so which brand? Do you find that it really puts your mind at rest? Nicks mum and partner bought us a Tommee Tippee one on Friday, because I was becoming a worry wart and I thoroughly recommend it. It's one that also monitors his breathing, plus a added night light, so bonus...I am sleeping so much better now :D

We have a sensor monitor too :) The angelcare one. I couldn't sleep without it!!

Phoebe has been moving loads in her crib now though, I was worried she was going to set it off by wriggling off of it! But, tried it out in the travel cot, and it even picked up her breathing when she was on the edge of the mattress, so I'm hoping her big cot will too :)

We managed to get it cheaper when Asda had their baby week :cheer:

i have the angelcare i couldnt sleep without it
he has rolled off it a few times and the alarm has gone off ...its awful
i will probably use it until he is at school :rotfl: :rotfl:

we have the angelcare one too and I couldn't sleep without it! It's gone off a couple of times (first time we ended up at A&E  ) but i found out we had a dodgy wire in it and angelcare sorted it out for us!

It works in her big cot and her travel cot even though she rolls all over the place.

We also have a camera too which was bought as a gift and I love it. Great invention.

we have the t.t one i love it puts my mind at ease as Thomas will only sleep on his belly
just make sure you turn off the ticking or it will drive you insane :)
xx

I have a Tixylix (sp) one. I really don't like it. The reception is awful. It buzzes. I never heard her wake up one day as she was just murmuring, not crying. I had the volume on full too. The buzzing drowned out the noise.

We've got a BT digital one, and I've got no complaints about it.

BT digital one here as well - it's so good I have to actually turn the volume down or I would be awake all night - she's a very noisy sleeper  :D

Don't have anything either.

Pondering a monitor (sound only) but atm don't really see the need.

We have the angel care monitor.. told you how bad I was before constantly getting OH to check on him, refusing to do it myself in case something was wrong. It put my mind at rest and defo one of my best buys :D we've recently had a couple of false alarms since he's started moving about more and it is awful but i'd rather that than nothing

we have the BT digital its fantastic - no fuzzyness, I have to turn mine down too as it's so clear and lyllabys are programmed into it which you can also turn on from the parent part, a nightlight and you can also talk back through it

We 'had' tommy tippee ones and they were shit, then when oran could crawl he decided they were as well and pulled the wire out so we got some cheap £30 Lyndam ones from Argos and they are the best ones, no interferance at all and so clear I can hear him move in his sleep, now he is older and able to yell though I have it on really quiet at night so I can barley hear it (unless he yells) BUT Im trying to decide when to stop using it........maybe in another couple of months

i have the same one a Tomme Tippe one with sensor pad. I think it is excellent and puts your mind at rest. although i still check on him i can sleep so much easier during the night. it has a night light and room temp also you can turn the tick off and then just the green light flashes at every breath.
my lo is still in his crib and covers the whole crib area so no false alarms. i havent tried it in the cotbed yet when he goes into his own room. My only worry is when the time comes and we have to decide to stop using it when he gets older :?

We've got the TT one with the sensor pad as well. They really are fantastic for use mums who worry. We have the ticks on and I dont mind them, in fact i'm so use to them now I barely notice them. When Chester used to have night feeds we used to forget that it was on and take him out of the cot then the alarm would be screeching at 2am!!!
