Hi there Ladies,

I dont' get on here as often as I'd like to and I hope you and all your babies are well but with 2 jobs, 2 children, 2 cats and a house to look after...oh yes and me.. ..life is pretty hectic, but would really love some advice please. Ashlea was doing great at eating lots of dinner and puddings...over the last week she will not eat dinners...regardless of what they are. As soon as dinners touch her mouth she spits them out...and screams... :rotfl: cheeky little monkey that she is....as soon as I give her puddings she can't get it down her neck fast enough...i can't blame her like cos i love puddings...a friend suggested giving her pudding first and then dinner which i tried and nope she only wants the pudding...is this not a young age to be getting choosey about what she wants? I don't know what else I can try, and I can't exactly say "if you don't eat all your dinner you won't get any pudding" now can I? Any suggestions would be welcome with open arms.....thank you....xxxx

Hiya

I have moved this to the "First Year: Feeding and Nutrition" section. Hope that's OK :)

Hi I have just seen this.

My friend had a similar problem and what she did was put dinner on spoon and then a little bit of pudding at front of spoon if you see what I mean. This fooled her daughter who would then take the food. I don't know if this will help you at all. Good luck.
