baby clothes?

May be posting in the wrong part but here goes..

Seems a silly question to ask considering I've already had a baby haha!

I'm about to sort through all the baby clothes to see what we've got so far and if we need anymore vests, sleep suits etc!

I'm focusing on newborn and 0-3 first - but how many vests, sleep suits, tops, pants etc would you suggest having?

I had around 20+ vests with Myah and ended up not using half of them!

Erm I'm not sure really but didn't want to read and run!!

I was given loads of clothes for my baby as my best friend had a baby six months before me so was growing out of clothes as I needed them. She's now seven weeks and has outgrown newborn so is in 0-3 and hasn't worn most of the newborn stuff! The weather has been so hot she spends most days in little vests or rompers.

I'd say best not to buy too much as people love to buy little clothes so you'll prob be given lots and until you know the weight of baby, it's hard to say how long they'll really need newborn! For now I'd say ten of each thing is more than enough xxxx

Thank you for a reply! Ive already sorted through them now only had to buy his coming home outfit but kept everything that was given to me.. if i dont use it i'll just put it on a freebie site

my sister uses this children's silk duvets for her child. she says that silk fabric is the best for newborns. I'm also thinking of buying it

I had 8 newborn bodysuits and 8 0-3 bodysuits. 3 bodysuits were gifted to us and some came with outfits. Newborn fitted her till 3 and a half months but from 4 weeks I used both sizes and its too many bodysuits
