Baby Bumps

I am 8 weeks and 6 days. This is my second baby. With my first I didnt show until 14 weeks as I am a bigger girl anyway. I lost weight when I was pregnant last time.

Anyway this time I have already lost 6lbs since I found out, feeling sick but havent been sick. But I seem to have a baby bump already. Everything has moved upwards. Been to mothercare to buy maternity clothes already as everything was tight even though I have lost weight.

Has anyone else had this as I am wondering if my dates are right or twins???

Never showed that early before but I did show about 6 weeks earlier with my second than with my first.

I think most people are bigger second time round as everything is a bit softer!

I noticed weight gain around my middle about 8/9 weeks, I don't think its that unusual.

Plus a distended bowel (mmmm!) is a common side effect of early pregnancy and can cause swelling in the abdomen.

Congratulations on the pregnancy and do let us know if it's twins!

Hi ya there, Congrates on your news

I'm 10 weeks pregnant now i have always exercised well watched what i eat and stayed a size 8-10. However, none of my trousers are fitting me around the middle anymore. I brought some maternity jeans bout 2 weeks ago, they are really comfy around the house but they do slip down so i dont wear them out. My boyfriend keeps telling me i'm going to be huge (in a nice way!) and he has suggested twins as they do run in my family I have had to buy a few pairs of trousers for work which are size 12, but they don't fit round the bum! I'm enjoying pregnancy but my changing figure and not having clothes to wear that fit is hard to take. My boyfriend tells me i'm not fat i'm pregnant. I didn't expect to be showing this early and this is my first time!

Will let you know wot the scan reveals. Only a week and a half away
