Hi mums

We are thinking of getting a baby bouncer but there seems to be soooo many to chose from. Just wondered which ones you thought were a good buy :D

Thank u

I brought this one when it was on offer

But to be honest it was a waste of money, although i use it to feed Calum in his not that fust with the teddys and the music etc is pretty poor to me.

I did go to a friends a couple of weeks ago who's had twins and she had these

Which seems fab, lasts longer and they seemed to enjoy it much more than mine! Alittle more expensive but lasts so much longer

I got that first one when Tom was little, we took out the musical/vibration bit so that it was a plain seat. To be honest the most useful one was an old adjustable one we were given that came from mothercare.

I don't think they sell them anymore but it was the same as this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mothercare-Baby-B ... 240%3A1318

Depends on who answers and how their baby is tbh

We got a basic one and am glad we didn't spend more as our LO wasn't a fan of his when small. He didn't mind to sit in it when a bit bigger but never slept in it or stayed in it longer than 15 minutes or so. Plus he was a big baby and by 4 months old was sitting forward and leaning over the side trying to grab things so it would tend to tip. So we had to stop using it.

I personally am not a fan of them and we got ours because our LO had colic and knew it often helped soothe babies suffering this. As it was he hated to be rocked in it  Also don't use them to rock baby off to sleep as LO can get used to this and will rely rocking to get off to sleep possibly. So never started that.

We got an OBaby basic one, it's got a vibrating seat and an arch with dangly bits on. she goes in it quite a lot and often has a snooze in it. The vibrating bit helps to settle her too. It was only about £17...... worth every penny and I wouldn't have wanted to spend any more :D

We got a chicco one from mothercare that has an adjustable back bit so baby can lie down or sit up and it's a rocker and a bouncer with the change of a black stand bit at the back. It doesn't vibrate or anything but it's really good because we always use it as a rocker and if she moves around it rocks itself. We use it every day and she is fine in it. Since birth she's pretty much used it in the lie flat position but now she's getting bigger we sit her up with it and she looks at the toys more now too. I wouldn't spend too much one because lots of babies don't like them so might be best to get a cheaper one first (or borrow one from a friend) just to see if your baby will take to it before you spend your money

This is the bouncer I was given by my cousin, wasn't keen at first as I was having a girl and wanted the Winnie the Pooh one from Mamas and Papas that matched the nursery so went and got that as well. The M&P one was too upright for Chloe to sit in and she never liked it, got the fisher price one back out and she loves it, still use it now. I was also given a swing by MIL but she hated that as well.
