I will be the exception I suppose baby will be in the nursery really really soon after its born, when my oh goes back to work probably , like 3-4 weeks then.
Though nursery is actually with the entrance from our bedroom and the rooms are quite small so really close.

The reason for that is that as we are both doctors we are called in emergencies during the night, phones ring, lights turns on, dressing etc...never mind also all the germs that we come back with them from the hospital
Anyway the door will stay open between the 2 rooms and close only in case we need to make noise during the night etc.
The baby will have a monitor, a sensory pad and it will be able to hear us really easy.
I hope it will work ok after all it's the same room split in 2...

Oh wow! I was thinking that I would put Pickle in a moses basket by my side of the bed until he is 6 weeks old or so and then in the nursery, as its literally 10 steps away from my side of the bed. But I bet when he arrives I'll want him to stay in longer.

I had no idea that the guidelines were 6 months, gosh I'm a bad mother already!!

Don't feel bad!!

The only reason I know it is because a friend of mine who's got 2 LO's told me. Had she not mentioned it, I wouldn't know either x
