Hello guys, yes i am up at a stupid time again!
This as happened to me twice now, and im abit fed up with it.
I am now 13W+5D and into my 2nd timester. In my 1st timester i was so tired all the time and couldnt hardly keep my eyes open. Just lately entering my 2nd timester i am really tired in the day, cant wait to go to bed. I sleep a couple of hours then wake at (1pm/2pm) and i stuggle to get back to sleep! Its really annoying!
So, im asking for any sleeping tips you guys can give me? To help me sleep a full night again.
I will very much appreciate the help and replies!

I know it's annoying and I have no tips but it's all good practice for when baby is here :)
Have you tried getting up making yourself a drink of water and just sitting somewhere else (no lights on, don't touch your phone) until you feel tired again. I'm sure Iv read somewhere that laying in bed unable to sleep is the worst thing to do (if it's for a long period of time)

I will try this thanks for your reply :)

I have no tips for this as I'm experiencing the same thing myself and would be very interested in the replies!!

For me tri 1 I was restless but I was having the vivid dreams and I found getting up and having a drink or small snack usually settled me back to sleep quite easily and this certainly didn't happen every night.

Tri 2 was better. Had the odd bad night and tended to sleep less hours overall but usually still felt well rested.

Tri 3 has reached a new level. I just can't sleep for no reason!!I go to bed fall into deep sleep easily and then wake up about 2-3am. I'm so wide awake and can't get back to sleep either which is really unlike me!! I don't even need the loo or feel uncomfortable.

When I wake up, I don't put lights on or go near my phone. I usually get back to sleep eventually but then wake up exhausted when the alarm goes off!!

Your tri 3 sounds like my tri 2. Like for example lastnight, i went to bed at 9.00PM and woke back up at 10.30PM GMT+0, because i needed the loo and i had sharp stabbinf pains. I then didnt go back to sleep till like 12.30Midnight. I was so wide awake. :(

It's only really been a consistent problem for me the last week or so. As I'm almost 32 weeks now perhaps I should consider myself lucky really. I'm off work this week so I'm feeling a lot less pressure to get a good night's sleep so I'm just going to see what happens and hopefully I can work out something that can help.

I really think the next few weeks are going to fly by!! I'm an organised person anyway so although we still have a few bits to do, I hope I'm not going to feel overwhelmed by it all.

Tri 2 dragged a bit for me. I've been lucky that I've mostly felt consistently well but I never got the 'glow' everyone talks about. It's just a bit of a waiting game after the 20 week scan.

OMG, the 'glow' i have got the glow. Ever since ive found out im pregnant and all the people ive seen have said to me 'Charlotte you have a glow to your skin' im like 'Okay, thank you lol' :D

I’m also up at stupid o’clock, not wanting to disturb my spouse. And hungry to top it off lol

I sometimes wake during the night and then struggle to get back off to sleep. I'm a stay at home mum and my youngest started school this year so I have the option to sleep in the day if I want. I haven't needed to so far but I do find I am getting tired earlier in the evening than before. I'm 27 weeks and sleep is generally good compared to some people at this stage.

I never get up out of bed when I do wake, unless I need a pee. And I do eventually manage to drop off again.

I try not to complain either as I think I've done really well to get this far without sleep being an issue. OH has been sleeping in the spare room during the week as having the whole bed gives me a bit of extra space and I don't see the point in disturbing him if I don't have to!! I've had no pressure to be up for work this week and some nights I've slept though whereas others have been a nightmare. Think I just need to run with it.
