After seeing my doctor a few days ago he has refered me to the ACU. This is because I have had problematic AFs (very heavy/painful and recently 24 day cycle) Back in April I had 2 lots of day 21 tests, one of which showed no ovulation and the other definite ovulation.
One friend has said they will do another day 3 test, FSH, this one I think is quite scarey cos it shows your egg quality I think.
Anyway, I am wondering if anyone has been to the ACU and what I should expect. My OH thinks I am being a bit impatient as it has only been seven or eight months but I am 36 and worried in case we leave it too late.
Are then any other 'oldies' on here?

I haven't been to the ACU but I just wanted to wish you well and hope all goes ok for you.

I'm 33 and it took us 20 months to conceive (unfortunately it didn't work out) so I know how frustrating it is, especially once you hit the big 30!!

Good luck hun

Thanks Hannah,

I havent had the appt through yet but I'll let you know how I get on. There might not be a prob but best to get it all checked out I think.

Good luck to you and I hope you have BFP v soon.

I'd just started going through the fertility clinic process when I got my bfp...i'd had my 21day bloods taken and my gp was going to refer me but a week later I got a +ve on the hpt and we found out all was well, we just took our time!

Do you use ovulation kits? I swear by them, i'm sure using those and figuring out my cycle was what finally got me pregnant!
