I thought I had it wrapped up.

Blair John Mcphail Lindsay

But dh and my sister and bother in law all love the other name. I like it to. God BOYS NAMES ARE A NIGHTMARE !!!!!!!, never had any of this with my girls x

Lucas John mcphail Lindsay

Or maybe

Lucas Blair McPhail Lindsay

HONESTLY I DONT KNOW WHAT LIKE BEST, DT KNOW WHAT TO DO.

is Lucas too popular?

Is Blair to girly?

I don't like Lucas being shortened to anything?

I have always thought our baby boy would be Blair, that was the boy name for all three of my girls.

Honest opinions again, ( sorry if you've already told me your choice)

I don't think Lucas is overly popular. I prefer it to blair cos j do think its feminine or reminds me too much of tony Blair.

I like Lucas a lot - my friend has a Lucas and he'd the only one in his class.

Ahhh nightmare.... You sound like me with my girls names turmoil!!

Go with your heart hun, blair seems to have stood the test of time througth all your pink bundles, my devon waited 9 long years to be born!!

I know a few lucas but never a blair , love it

If we have a boy, we're fairly set on Lucas, so I'm biased! I wondered about popularity but I think it's fine! X

If you think Lucas is too popular maybe Luca? One of our nephews is Luca and I think its lovely xx

I know a Luca too - love that. It's a little bit different.

I knew a Blair at uni. On one brilliant occasion, a few of the lads were going out but he was staying in to finish an assignment. As they left, they all walked past his room:

1st lad: See ya later Tony.
2nd lad: See ya later Lionel.
3rd lad: See ya later [bit of a pause] ... Witch Project

 Hilarious.

I wouldn't be able to use the name for that reason, but if you've had it in mind for so long, especially as the boy's name when you had your girls, I can see why it'd be hard to let it go.

I won't be discussing names with anyone but OH - too many opinions to take on board. It sounds like a nightmare. My friend's DS was nameless for a week because they found it so hard to choose!

I think Blair sounds better with your surname. Lucas Lindsay is harder to pronounce than Blair Lindsay which rolls off the tongue easier.
If you are using Mcphail Lindsay as,the surname then I prefer Lucas because it's my personal favourite out of the two names xx

i prefer Lucas to Blair but thats just my opinion. i dont think Lucas is too popular! i love it! Xx

I'd go with Blair. Definitely. It was your original choice and you've waited so long for it. Blair gets my vote.

I try to imagine how a child would be saying their name and try to come up with so many situations for example, what if wee one has a speech impediment (not that there's anything wrong with that, sorry if it offends anyone it's not my intention) and can't say L or R's. I avoided the likes of Laura/Lara incase child said Waura/Wara if you know what I mean. Blair would def be easier to say than Lucas. Both names are stunning, but Blair does it for me :)

Blair!!!!! Ha how you getting on with your descision hun?

Im set on my greta now, dont care what people think!
Not sure bonnie rolls off tounge as middle name but want it in there
