arghh supply problems

So as I've mentioned on a few other posts, I went to the cinema recently, leaving my lo with a family friend and some breastmilk expressed over the previous few days. I was gone about 6 hours and didn't have a chance to express and by the time I got back my boobs were agony... And my t shirt was absolutley soaked (had a coat on so didn't even realise!). They remained engorged for the next couple of days despite expressing as well as bf, but now my supply seems to have dissapeared! I've gone from having an oversupply to hardly anything, and it now takes an hour of feeding to satisfy lo, even then he's super fussy, probably because he's used to the milk coming out so fast. It usually takes 5-10mins to feed him!
And the worst bit is my boobs have gone down 2 bra sizes and I now have an idea of what they will look like when I stop bf... And they look so different
Was hoping to give a couple of formula bottles over xmas so I could have a cheeky baileys, but looks like I'm going to have to have lo hanging off my boob 24/7 to try and get my supply back up... Don't think I could express 10ml right now let alone my usual 400ml ... Arghhhh so annoying!

How old is your little one? Your supply will settle down. I found expressing hard anyway so can't help on that front.

I would be surprised if your supply had dried up after missing one feed. Have you been breast feeding like normal ever since?

The only way you can tell if your supply isn't enough for the baby is if the baby is losing weight, crying/being fussy etc can be from a whole host of other things.

Chin up, you've done so well.

If you continue to keel trying to feed I'm certain your supply will eventually go back to what it was before, and maybe hang fire with skipping feeds until it has all settled down (which it will do in a few weeks)
