I am 36+2 with my first baby.
For the last few nights now, i have had a strange pain around my pubic bone.
Its difficult to describe, but its a really strong ache that gets worse when i put weight on my legs.
Ive also had a lot more 'twinges' too in the last few days that feel like my belly squeezing and releasing.
Sorry for too much info here, but Ive also had diarrhea for the last few days, and when i go for a wee theres no pressure behind it. It just kind of falls out.
Is all of this a sign that things are happening?
Sam

The pubic bone ache sounds like spd not labour :)

i have the pubic bone pain i cant even describe how bad it is, its like my legs go dead and it stops me in my tracks, i get sharp pains down my legs and my groin and my midwife said its babys head engaging... but ive had this since 34 weeks and no sign of baby yet ! but id say its a good sign things are going in the right direction :)

Sam i know the feeling, i was in pain last night!! Its too bloody early yet haha xx

Sounds like the pains are all in the right place, and loose bowels is a good sign usually.
But i think Pelvic Pain is more a sign od SPD than labour. x
