I have a daughter already called Georgina and am nearly 13 wks with bump!
I like traditional names... but am not sure... so would welcome anyone's opinion!
Currently - Girl would be Elizabeth Clara
and Boy would be Benedict Arthur.
Dh and I don't agree, but do these go with Georgina and are they.. well dh says too posh!?

Thanks!

really like the name Clara.
cant say I like the name Elizabeth.

The boys names are great! :D

i like the name you have for a girl, but not the one for a boy. i think girls can get away with most names and sound cute and girly but with boys you have to be carefull Benedict Arthur sounds cute for a baby but i couldnt imagin a 21yr old lad called Benedict Arthur

Thanks for that - it's a bit how I feel about Alfie!! Lovely for babies, but not 15 year olds!
Oh well... back to the drawing board!

i like alfie, its quite popular now though i no 3 girls all called there baby it in the last yr

I think in 21 years time I can well imagine a lad called Benedict Arthur! :)

I like the more unusual/traditional names and although I hear a lot of opposition from people saying the child may get teased, I'm not sure this is true.

It really seems anything goes these days so chances are not all his mates will be Jacks and Josephs. Kids can take cool names!

Besides if he turns out to be quite a conservative bloke, he could always go with Ben! :)

loving the girly choice too. :D

I love Benedict but not sure about Aurthur with it (sorry). I love traditional names too.

I love Benedict but maybe not with arthur as middle name. I knew someone who named their son Benedict and he was benny when little and will prob be Ben when he's older :)

I don't particularly like Arthur either - it's only cos my dad is Roger Arthur (his parents must have hated him!!) and I included my mum's middle names (Mary and Alice) in DD1's names - if that makes sense. Don't want to leave dad out! Would only call baby Benedict and have Arthur just on birth cert!
Thanks everyone

Benedict is cool, if he grows up and dont like it, he can always shorten it to Ben .. I am not sure about Arthur either, its my Biologials fathers middle name and hes a right old git! .. suppose 'one' relates names to people they like or dislike? :D
